Fatt is fine, he was on the bench for the last 8 minutes, we were just up by double digits and Tony felt no need to risk him
I hope this is the case because Hill is a difference-maker. Everytime he comes in he lifts the team with his energy on both sides of the ball. I thought Cornell was our toughest test this year. They are well coached, disciplined, and confidently zip the ball around. Not a lot of dribbling. It was a fun game to watch. In the end, we just had too much talent. Great win.

I too was disappointed in the crowd. I showed up expecting to see at least 4,000 or 5,000. I know Pablo posted the "official" attendence was ~3,600 but it looked like it was around 2,500 - 3,000. In the past, winning streaks have led to more people showing up. What's going on? If we don't get 5,000+ for the ODU game fingers need to be pointed. Maybe the solution is to make the FREE PLASTIC CUP giveaway permanent? Yeah, that's the ticket. Hahahaha.

I was thinking it was around 3K as well. My suspicion is that they counted the free tickets that were given away as part of the Black Friday sale, even though it seems a lot of those tickets weren't actually redeemed last night.

Standard practice in pro/college sports now is to count “distributed” tickets as official attendance, so you’re likely correct

Great second half after starting out sloppy. Good to see us match their pace, a lot of fight in this team.

Troutman needs to really tighten up defensively, he was getting burned left and right tonight. He looks great offensively though.

Back door cuts killed the whole team tonight, a lot of things to pull out of film to improve the team defense.
I wonder if the backdoor cuts were sort of a planned acceptable price to pay to overplay the perimeter and limit open 3's? With our size and length I'm sure they figured we'd make scoring around the basket difficult even on some back cuts, but would rather give them that over open looks from 3.

Makes sense. They got us in the first half, and even more so in the second half, but as you suggest, it was by design. We let em.
