St. Louis assistant coach Corey Tate very clearly bumped George Mason head coach Tony Skinn with his shoulder in the handshake line after the game. Tony Skinn was not pleased.

I had to listen to the second half on the radio. Man, I wish I could have seen that performance live.

I was looking for some evidence that our big four (Long, Mincy, Troutman, and Allenspach) could give us 4 good games in a row and I think we’ve at least seen they can string together 3 and fight.

Not liking that Dayton wound up the 4 seed instead of the 3, but it is what it is. If we can get past them in the quarters, who knows?

One game at a time. Richmond beat us pretty bad and La Salle gave us some trouble with their physicality. If we play like we did today, we’ll cruise. If we play like we did in the month of February . . .

Number of St Louis fans around me as well, they snuck out halfway through the second half.

Tony has turned this team around after they seemed lost for a month. Gotta give it up for righting the ship during the toughest tide.

That was a fun one. Crowd was best of year, chanting defense and Mason, great atmosphere. Great team effort , everyone contributed. Long was. Killing STL with his drives, Kory broke some ankles with his moves, Riley played well, Kanga and Ellington combine for 24 pts and 21 boards what an effort. If this team plays half as good in the tourney it will be a fun weekend.
