Riley had 32min to Kanga s 12, +\- doesn't tell the story especially on D when he blocks 2 shots has 3 rebounds but more importantly blocks the middle where +\- doesn't take into account. I guess we will agree to disagree on this point.

Agree to your point that Kanga does a better job of blocking the middle on defense. However, the +/- indicates that while he is doing that, vcu is still outscoring us by 13 more points in the 12 minutes he's playing.

Mason isn't scoring enough when he's in the game to take advantage of his good defensive skills because we're not getting points inside when Riley is on the bench. That allows the vcu players to play tighter on our perimeter players.

If I remember right, Mincy was out a lot of the time Riley was out. That could have been a factor in Kanga getting a negative number. Putting him in with Ellington and an ice cold Long wasn't going to result in much offense. His two blocks in a row were epic.

I have courtside seats for my local G-League team and we played back-to-back games against Shulga's team. My son and I decided to yell at him the entire game and boo loudly every time he touched the ball. A couple of guys around us were like, "What the hell did he do to you?" and I simply said, "I f**king hate him." So they laughed and joined in.

Late in the game, he was inbounding the ball right in front of me and I said, "Hey, ref, tell Shulga he sucks." Shulga turned around and said, "What the f**k?" I smiled and said, "We're George Mason fans." He laughed and fist bumped my son and I.
