Was very worried about this game when I saw the line keep climbing. Dayton was our best game of the season (Otis went nuclear, supporting cast showed up) and La Salle is a little better than they've been playing lately. Not much, but a little.
I am just stumped about why we went super small in crunch time. We were getting eaten alive in the paint and not grabbing rebounds on either end, but Calixte and AJ didn't play the last few minutes. I lost the feed for a few minutes early in the second half (we were up about 6 when I lost it, down 1 when it came back) so I have no idea what Paulsen might have seen to make him think going small was a good idea. No, Calixte and AJ weren't super effective against Washington, but taking them out of the game meant Boyd was trying to defend him in the post. Aggravating. I hope they're both healthy.
