My prediction: All faith is gone. We lose. Instead of having two beers before the game I decide to just get hammered drunk in order to survive another sh&t show that is Mason basketball.

Discuss.

Preferred Walk-On
Rhode Island packs the lane. Guards can't hit a shot to save their life. Rhode Island however plays so bad, mason wins by 1 after trying to blow a 7 point lead lead after missing several foul shots. This will be their only win the rest of the season.

Can we petition to have the gold/green rooms open the entire game, so we don't actually have to go into the arena?

I simply do not care.
Buck up little camper.

Now is not the time to abandon our team. Our comPATRIOTS need our support in times of trouble. Otherwise, the house collapses and we start all... over... again. *SIGH*

URI game will go a long way to show if this team has quit on it's coach, each other, and us. Let's not quit on them. I'm not gonna throw in the towel—never have, never will.

I think we can win this game.

Can't wait to see KE's reaction on the bench if URI gets the lead in the 2nd half. He may pull everyone!

Lol “little camper”.

This game isn’t “going a long way” towards anything. I still support the program and hope they eventually figure this thing out, but I’m not nuking my Saturday to watch two terrible teams, especially when the one I root for doesn’t look remotely interested in playing basketball.

Repeating this from Duquesne thread:

Hoping that the "slower pace to reduce turnovers" experiment was the reason we looked soooo outclassed last night. Unfamiliar style lead to lack of offensive rhythm, leads to even more turnovers and runouts. Hopefully, lesson learned and we get back to at least being competitive against beatable teams.

Let's hope for a performance that isn't totally a repeat of previous embarrassing losses in front of Homecoming crowds!

Start (albeit a few games too late) of the "Social Season". I consider the MVP of this season to be our wonderful bartender in the Gold Room. His genius in loading up the tables before halftime needs to be recognized and rewarded (it merits a good tip from me each game). God bless him and the great job he's done for years.

Oh crap, is there a game this Saturday interrupting my Gold Room drinking?

Is it bad I completely forgot this was the homecoming game? Feel like I haven’t seen as much promotion, or maybe I’m just not paying attention after the last few games.

My mistake....I didn't read carefully enough to see that the "official Homecoming tailgate" was the 18th.

But in my defense, this link (https://alumni.gmu.edu/s/1564/GID2/16/interior.aspx?sid=1564&gid=2&pgid=465) seems to indicate that Homecoming goes on from the 10th to the 22nd!

I've been betting against GMU in the hopes of a reverse jinx and it hasn't worked. Do I take Mason -5 here to guarantee a 4 pt victory?

I won’t say it, but let’s just say this is not the effort I would expect when you were embarrassed in your last game….Troubling at best.
