Great game by Fernandez.
I was surprised to Jones as the first off of the bench, but thought he played better and had a couple of nice assists.
Henry continues to play well.
Dinkins is not ready for more time and not sure he ever will be.
I didn't mind the lineups with Cooper and Bailey running point.

Noah Fernandes, one of the better PGs in the league, missed yet another game--6th in a row. And I think RJ Luis--won the A10 Rookie of the week was the one with the bloody nose from the collision and only played 13 minutes. Also Matt Cross, another 6-7 forward averaging double digits, didn't play for the second straight game.

i suggest forgetting this win very quickly then. Didn't know those guys were out. nice win, but on to the next.

As someone who has had 2 stomach bugs over the last 18 months, I assure you they are no fun. It must be that bad of a bug that he lost so much weight. They are brutal.

Is Frank Martin now 0-2 against Mason? He was the coach at KState when we beat them in the Old Spice Classic way back in the day. The pep band got sent to Disney for that game and one of our members had transferred from Kansas so he got us all to do the rock chalk chant in the games waning minutes. Really got under the KState fan's skin...unlike anything I've ever seen...

Believe so - I don't think we have played South Carolina in recent years when he was there.

Interestingly enough post final four at USC he was around .500 overall. Usually making a run like that opens the door with recruits etc.

Coop seems to be the only guard on our team who understands how to drive and pass instead of always taking it all the way to the rim. Set up Malik for two dunks last night. Wish we could see more of that because we desperately need to start creating some easy buckets.

While he was only 3/10 from the field and 0/6 from 3, he had 8 assists and 3 boards. The team only had 14 assists as a whole, so he had more than half.

I'd much rather him help out passing the ball on the way to the rim, versus only relying on his 3 where hes shooting 34%.
