GW's inability to get Battle open looks from deep is hilarious. They've got one of the top 6 or 7 shooters in the league in him and they can't figure out a way to run him off a screen to get him an open look over Tyler Kolek.

It is really fun to see Polite starting to be college Polite.
This is more of the type of player I'd expected him to be. I'm still not sold that he's ever going to be a good PG (mainly in the sense of facilitating an offense), but as a slasher and when he goes downhill to the basket like that he looks solid.

I’d love for his 3 point shot to start to fall, when it does they have a pretty good guard.

Boy, Ronald Polite has really grown up these past couple weeks.

You won't hear it on here, but you have to admit Paulsen deserves credit for it.

Minutes when he wasn't ready, when people on here were screaming to bench him, paying off.

I loved Polite from Day One, but I don't know if I would have had the courage to give him the minutes Paulsen did when he wasn't quite ready...

People make such a big deal of the fresh legs thing, but we leave in all of our starters in the last minute of a blowout

they actually integrated him well. He played sorta 5 minutes then 10-12 minutes. Eventually he adjusted to the speed and now showed he can actually score.

him and Hartwell played some really good minutes in half 2 today sparking the offense.

Love to get the revenge sweep on GW (whose fans think we don't belong in the A10). But if they play like they did in the first half, their chances of beating Davidson are about .01%.

Nothing to lose, guys, take all the chances...all of them...and take your shot.

I'm so conflicted on this. Do players get better in practice or does it take some real game experience? I definitely think you've got to get the game day jitters out with some experience. It wasn't pretty early. But yeah, he looked real good today.

Do you take the chance on starting him tomorrow?

Meh. He has quietly started getting starter minutes off the bench anyway. I don’t mind starting the streaky Hartwell to see if “good” Jamal shows up.
