I've hated them since 1975!

It is interesting to think about--I wonder now that schools like ODU and JMU have moved to other conferences--will the animosity that older fans (heyday of CAAZONE fandom) fade away and seem silly to younger fans. I imagine they will see ODU and JMU as just in-state schools in other conferences that Mason plays from time to time, that they have no reason to have strong opinions about.

South Florida is 11/21. They’re 1-1 beating Charleston Southern by 17 and losing to
DePaul by 2. Should be a better game.

We dropped to 102 in Kenpom after this game.

Good first half, not so good second half only 22 pts. Crowd never seemed to get into it and the second half play was lackluster at best. I can't remember a 3 ball shot the last 10-12minutesof the game. O'Connors D was bad, in a2-3 min stretch his guy hit two 3s and duece. The bright spot for me is Shane P, he has a good shot, hustles, rebounds well and plays good D, going to be hard to keep him. This game gives Tony a lot to teach from and I'm sure the players will learn some valuable lessons for later on in the season.

Can’t imagine Tony and staff were thrilled with what they saw tonight. Early season stuff to work out but that’s why you play buy games.

I like what I see from Pendergrass and Valentine. I like our defense. But we were a little too casual at times tonight. Lots to work on and I’m not worried as it’s November.

Game Norwood is a natural color man. I luv Will but Gabe is a 100% improvement. Gabe is a natural!

I know it's early, but I had a little bit of a flashback of last season of not coming out ready play. Jones letting his man shoot at uncontested 3 within the first couple minutes of the game was ridiculous. Thankfully we have more options this season and he got instantly benched. Glad to see Pendergrass ate up the opportunity. Not sure if Jones's limited minutes later in the game were related to his effort or the potential injury.
