I had to trick AI into making the photo of the Patriot dunking a terrier (due to restrictions on creating images of “animal abuse”, very proud of myself - but image is too large for server to process….
Hoping to set the standard for the season with a lot of students at this game! If we can get a good amount of students at this first game, and they have a good time, it will make them WAY more likely to come back. As much as some people hate the dj/think the dj will take away from the green machine, it will for sure boost the student section energy!! So ready for the seasonFree Patriot Pressure T-Shirts for GMU students that come out to the Wofford game Nov 3 at 7PM

I don't hate the DJ thing because of the Green Machine, I hate the DJ thing because DJs don't belong at college basketball games. DJs want to become part of the show, but the show is the game, not the music.Hoping to set the standard for the season with a lot of students at this game! Probably true, but we are likely copying another program in hope of getting more students to the games.I don't hate the DJ thing because of the Green Machine, I hate the DJ thing because DJs don't belong at college basketball games. And FWIW, I used to be a DJ. People become DJs because they want the attention, I know I certainly did back in the day. If they aren't the star of the show, they can become really annoying.
Yea I get that, DJs can definitely take away from the game. From a student perspective, I think many students dont go for just the game but more for the environment and that is true for almost all colleges and sports. If we build the environment around games, it will overall help the on court product and hopefully have more people invested in the game too, not just the environment with a DJ playing music.I don't hate the DJ thing because of the Green Machine, I hate the DJ thing because DJs don't belong at college basketball games. 800 students would be a phenomenal turnout. The main reason for announcing promos go to the "first X amount of people" is to encourage people to get there early and get their butts in the seats, if they are coming.I was hoping for free t-shirt but at least students getting them. But 800? Is that being cheap not doing more or recognition that students are not coming out?
I've been saying this for years but to throw back out: Once a new student signs up for admissions/become a student... working in tandem - the AD and Office of Admissions should send that student (men and women) a standard Green GMU T-shirt with a short description stating something along the lines of " Welcome to the Mason family our colors are green and gold, please wear this t-shirt to GMU athletics events to show your school pride."I was hoping for free t-shirt but at least students getting them. But 800? Is that being cheap not doing more or recognition that students are not coming out?
Gold Rush is always the first Friday. What happened to Gold Rush? Unless that is for the game on the 7th ?
