The crowd was a joke. I would love to get ahold of what you're smoking.Lots of people here at the exhibition game. Tony got Mason poppin' again.

I was there. Surely you jest. May be a few more than were at the Open Practice but certainly not "poppin'". Not counting band members (~60), the Masonettes and cheerleaders, I'm guessing maybe 25 in the student section. Only a few scattered cars in the bottom half of the South Entrance parking lot (3 aisles down from the Entrance).Lots of people here at the exhibition game. Tony got Mason poppin' again...
I like the idea of establishing Jahari Long at the starting PG. A solid contributor who knows Skinny from both Seton Hall and Maryland..not to mention 89 games under his belt on both the Big East and Big Ten. A big physical guard at the one.Nothing to be learned from this other than Skinn and Ryan-Preston Monday should redshirt. Like some stuff but it's all relative against a D3 opponent.

I think the crowd was fair for a d3 scrimmage, but not poppin. I also counted about 25 in the student section. That DJ takes up a lot of space. Who would sit behind him? Like it admits to giving up getting students out to games. New ads boards replace the cheerleader spot. They shift over to take the dancers spots and push them up into the student section. Time to give up thinking any energy in the building will happen away from the band. No one thought to remove the dance camera from today’s script? Its not going to be crazy in a scrimmage.Lots of people here at the exhibition game. Tony got Mason poppin' again.
He has a torn Acl, he’s done for the year.Any words on Fatts Hill. He was not in the box score. Was he out with an injury?
He started as pg1. Guess that’s the plan, at least for now.Who was the primary PG? Long?

Don't disagree with any of the above. My take... the team as a whole had good energy and definitely has become more fleet of foot. Lots of breakouts in transition that one could tell were by design. They also showed a press throughout the game which tells me it's going to make an appearance often this season. The press was disruptive and created four or five turnovers. Overall impression: good dress rehearsal!
Competition level aside...
BOC certainly got his today. Strong D and blue-collar offense got the job done right.
Troutman stood out well. He has a knack to find seams from the 3-pt. line to the rim—something we really lacked last season.
Ellington came alive in the second half putting himself in nice positions a few times to receive a pass for a solid dunk.
Corey Mincy's D was tight and energetic . He also has good 3-pt. prowess using a smooth, refined stroke.
Kanga is going to post strong contributions in his rookie season. He was a vacuum cleaner on the defensive boards and he put in some nice work under the basket on the offensive end.
Others made a solid showing as well. I don't have the bandwidth to give a shout out to everyone individually—soooo many new players to watch. Good hustle all-around. We'll see if it holds up when the real competition starts.
These guys could be fun to watch once the chemistry really begins to solidify.
FWIW, I have found Ticketmaster doesn't like when you use a VPN when logging in to your account. I always turn my VPN off to make it work. I'm not sure that's your issue, but it's one thing to try in the future.I hear that. I've been dealing with some kinda integration issue between the GMU and Ticketmaster apps where the GMU Account Manager just loads a white screen. Thankfully I found a work around to get to my tickets. Hopefully they work today. Looking forward to getting back on campus for some college hoops!
Wild that a rotation player — and potential starter — can sustain a season-ending injury and there is zero coverage of it.He has a torn Acl, he’s done for the year.

No, I'm not running a VPN on my phone. I've been troubleshooting the last week. I've deleted cache for both apps and reinstalled both. About to just give up since I can get to the tickets through the browser.FWIW, I have found Ticketmaster doesn't like when you use a VPN when logging in to your account. Brooks is going play a bigger role with Hill out.Well that sucks about Hill. But I suppose if there is one position on this roster where we could absorb that kind of loss it’s on the wings.
Brooks????? Or possibly someone who is already on the roster. Brayden? Booker?Brooks is going play a bigger role with Hill out.
