Darn, was rooting for St. Louis.... most likely vcu going to win the A-10 again
They lose todayDarn, was rooting for St. Louis.... most likely vcu going to win the A-10 again
As I heard a fan sitting by me explain, SLU didn't throw the ball in so there was no 'violation.'Major controversy as that idiot from Dayton ran onto the court with time on the clock but the refs didn’t call a tech
Before the second round games, Dalen Cuff mentioned that there was some chance (not necessarily a good one) that the A10 could get 3 bids---vcu might get a bid if they made it to the A10 finals and lost to a #4 or #5 seed, as SLU was going to get an at-large barring a terrible collapse.Dayton over St. Louis
A-110 steals a bid
Some version of poetic justice, I guess, making up for the inadvertent whistle on that play where Dayton was robbed of an opportunity to get an uncontested layup. As I heard a fan sitting by me explain, SLU didn't throw the ball in so there was no 'violation.'
Has SLU thrown the ball into play, the refs would have had to call one. Apparently, a similar situation happened in a vcu/Bona game recently.
But not a tough call for Mason fans as to who we'd be rooting for tomorrow! So if Dayton wins tomorrow, the A10 could get three teams in. Tough call for the committee because St. Louis despite hitting a wall recently definitely should be in. vcu also does but might get squeezed if we only get two teams in.
