So is this the PIG or what?
Technically, there are now two PIGs, one at 6 and one at 8:30.

I hate to sound like s_curl, but one thread for all our tournament games? <insert joke that we'll only play one game anyway.....>. Washingtonian, I love that you take the time to set up a thread for each game with game notes, records, etc. It makes my limited game posting a more enjoyable experience. But should hell freeze over and we win on Wed, to have two games rolled into one thread is too much for this mental midget to handle...

As a glutton for punishment, I will be in Brooklyn for the games and I will not stop "believ'in" the seeding is favorable. We eventually have to beat Fordham (don't we), vcu is down (no way they deserve an autobid in their current state), we know we can beat Richmond (assuming Thompson can still move on Friday), and we should have beat Davidson (teams don't really get better over the season do they?). Just living on a prayer :)

Man that type of hope has been smashed out of me the past few seasons. Kudos.

Who knows, maybe the team will pull an East Carolina and win the A-10 tournament the way the pirates did the CAA tournament some 15 or so years ago (with a 10-20 record or something like that).

According to an email I received from the A-10, the GMU-Fordham game is on SNY as well. I can watch the game that puts Hewitt under.500 on TV!

15?? more like 22 to be exact. Everyone is getting old. (1993--they were the 7 seed)

Yes, Virginia, there is a Fordham

"Looks like our Rams' road to perdition goes entirely through the Old Dominion State: GMU, vcu and then Richmond, should we magically manage to survive that far:

I'm fully convinced that we will beat Fordham, just so that we can undergo the pain of losing to vcu in March YET AGAIN. :bricks::bricks::bricks::bricks:

I may have a fever so consider that before I make the following stupid statement . . . I would not be shocked to see us beat FU, vcu and UR. However, nothing would be a more fitting ending to the Fluffer Years than for FU to beat us in the PIG.

Mandell Thomas

"The Rams will be led into the championship by a pair of rookies who are having outstanding seasons, guard Eric Paschall, who returns to action after missing two games with an injury, and forward Christian Sengfelder. They are the only freshman teammates in the nation to be averaging 10.0 ppg and 5.0 rpg with Paschall leading the Rams, averaging 16.5 ppg and 5.6 rpg, while Sengfelder is averaging 11.4 ppg and 7.3 rpg.

Not to be outdone by the rookies, junior guard Mandell Thomas is second on the team, averaging 13.4 ppg, and he became the 35th player in Fordham history to score more than 1,000 career points, entering the championship with 1,039 career points, good for 31st on the all-time scoring list. He also has 68 steals this season, the fifth best single season total in school history."

Hate to say it, but -- looking at the rosters -- there's no reason we should lose to Fordham
