Stack up Ws for Skinns resume. If he gets 20 wins he’s P5 bound

It's a double-edged sword. Want him and the team to do well, but he does well enough he will jump to a better program. GMU is a steppingstone.

Last year we played 8 total teams with Net of 200+, so far this year we have 6.
Last year OOC had 1 team under 123 in Net - VT at 55, so far this year we have 3.

Why not play UMBC instead?
Likely better competition.
Likely increased game attendance as they are an hour's bus ride away.

How many Bryant Alumni are in the area?

Just win, gain momentum going into conference play, and finish in the top 4. I feel like it doesn't matter who we play. The P5 schools will pitch a fit and get their schools who finished 11th in the league in above of quality A10 schools who they wouldn't play in the first place.

It still matters. The committee is actively looking for reasons to shut mids out from at large bids, don’t give them any by scheduling soft.

Against their schedule last year and lost in the quarterfinals of the A10 tournament that’s a team that’s comfortably in and probably at worst a 5 seed.

Sure, but the only team that I’m aware of that has run the A10 table in the modern era is 2020 Dayton.

The much more clear path to an at large is scheduling tough, winning a few away or neutral site games (even close away Q1 losses) and giving yourself a little bit of wiggle room for the inevitable slip up in conference play and the conference tournament. That is the path that literally every other at large coming from the A10 has taken for the last decade.

But the point isn’t necessarily that it’s something that’s realistic, but that if we are comparing schedules to Miami(Ohio) our conference provides a lot more opportunities for quality wins than theirs.

We don't want to compare to Miami, as they are also on the outside looking in. We need to be in a position that we look better than the 24th team from the SEC. Its the anointed conferences vs everyone else in fairness.
