I'd argue that teams that are frequently bubble teams are most in need of an extra boost of a quality OOC matchup in order to get into the NCAA tournament. You'd rather see Fordham matching up with the likes of Memphis/USF??

I’d rather see teams that are consistently making the bubble/NIT because of SOS issues get these matchups. Obviously Fordham is nowhere near Memphis.
Dayton was a bubble team last year.

Mason/ECU or Tulane.
I would just refuse to play that game if that’s what they give us. Tulsa, UAB, Wichita State, FAU, maybe North Texas or Temple.
Tulsa makes too much sense with Konkol there, but neither coach may want that game b/c of their friendship.
H&H with Tulsa would be mutually beneficial, insane NOT to sign that deal.
The only one of Tony’s buddies he’s played is Grant Billmeier at NJIT.
No Willard, no Holtmann, no Konkol.
All three coach teams that would be good games for us to get.

Critically High Point is well funded (and playing us and SLU on home and homes is a likely warmup for them pushing for A-10 membership before the end of the decade)
Indeed, they've been very strong the last 3 years under 2 different coaches. #85 Kenpom last year and beat Wisconsin first round of the NCAAs.
They did start 5 seniors this past season, so it sounds like a full re-load for them and pretty much the same for us.
