The plus side: actual ESPN. The minus: the coveted 10pm slot lol.
i bet the game will have announcers discussing other topics besides the game and will call Mason the “Colonials” at least once. Probably mispronounce names too.

It's a Friday, correct? Wow - what's the average age on here? Sure, this old guy may take a nap after work prior to it, but I look forward to watching this at my neighborhood bar. (without having to find a place that carries MASN2)

I can't wear my mason bball hoodie in the Caribbean. Guess this means someone needs to open the adidas store back up So i can get some tee shirts.

Let's remember this tournament is a DP left over we couldn't get out of
I don't know if that's true, but let's also remember that we haven't been to the NCAA tournament in over a decade. Until that changes, we need to show some humility. This is close to the best party we're likely to be invited to at the moment (aside from whichever strong midmajor it was dropping out and leaving us with Tarrleton as a replacement team). If we want to get back into the nicer ESPN events, we have to win something first.

Take care of business and we shouldn’t have to worry about playing Tarleton State. I want to see us go 3-0 after going 0-3 in last year’s tournament.

Honestly if we can’t beat BC, we don’t belong in a better tournament and most likely won’t be competing for an NCAA bid again so it’s all moot.

I just hope we're smarter with scheduling around this tournament compared to last year's tournament where we played 5 games in 7 days and the guys were clearly gassed. Even though we'll have more depth this year, 5 games in a week is a lot for any team!

With covid, hopefully, being less of an issue, I doubt we'll see a repeat of that kind of scheduling.

COVID had nothing to do with it. English mistook his players for professionals and said in the coaches show it was a mistake to load up the early schedule with so many games.

May be, but as the season progressed, there was a lot of crowding games in to make up for covid issues.

That was true, but the early season tournament fatigue was a different issue.
Some of it was JMU and Maryland being inflexible about scheduling, and Kim really really didn't want to turn down the Maryland game. I think coach learned from it, he's mentioned it several times.

Man didn't even realize this game was conveniently scheduled for those of us on Hawaiian-Aleutian Standard Time. Looking forward to a the game and maybe going out for dinner and watching the sunset.

While the time might not be the greatest for television, the late start time seems like a great benefit to those that are going to be in the USVI for the game. We can spend the day on the beach, etc. enjoying the local environment and then go to the game.

I guess if you’re going to schedule a game during thanksgiving when students aren’t even on campus and people are traveling, you might as well make it one of the least appealing teams in DI.
