Overhead conversation between head coaches -

JT3: Sup, Pauly.
PH: Sup, Trey
JT3: Can't wait for the season to start. My fans are riding my a** for not making the touney last year. NIT just not good enough for Georgetown fans. Hell, not making the Sweet 16 is not good enough for those rich, entitled brats.
PH: I hear you, man. The crazies on MasonHoops.com are whining about us being picked 13 out of 14. Can you believe there is a dillweed who has a FirePaulHewitt Twitter account? And it isn't the same dillweed from Georgia Tech. I am going to show them, we are going to win the PIG in Brooklyn and advance in the CBI. Take that haters.
JT3: Yeah, . . . haters going to hate, I guess . . . later Pauly.

GIVING DAY 2023
According to the TV schedule on MASN's website, the game at Oklahoma on 12/31 will be broadcast on MASN2 as part of their Big 12 Conference TV package

In case you needed something to help you get started on NYE drinking...

What would you call losing @ Iona (I went to that game), losing at Princeton, losing at Bucknell (I went to that game too), @ ODU, @ vcu, @ GW, or @ USF?

It has been turnovers, bad breaks, tough games on the road and some small game management areas with Hewitt.

I'll ask you POINT BLANK: If we hit a little turbulence early on will you be secretly rooting for another year from Hell just so you can get your way and get Hewitt out?

If I am wrong I will make a public post in this forum and own up to it that I went down with the ship. But if we bounce back next year...? ohohohoho don't think I won't remember buddy.

How's that working out so far sport?

Nah...Drexel hooked us with the "first team to lose to a non D-1" last night. It's all good.
Phew, that is good. Honestly, I think we will beat Catawba on the basis of athletic ability alone. Given the "system" we run, it depends a lot on having better individual talent in one on one situations. I think that bodes well for the Catawba game.

Then again, I have not seen Catawba...

From GW's message board - http://www.gwhoops.com/default.aspx?mid=skvvso1377:

"My three toughest home and homes belong to George Mason ((vcu, GW, Davidson, Richmond and SLU twice which is the same as GW's except we get Duquesne twice instead of SLU), Duquesne ((Dayton, GW, Davidson, SNU, SLU twice) and Richmond (Davidson, GW, GM, vcu and SBU twice)."

Per their online programming schedule, MASN has picked up the Mason game at Dayton on Wed, Feb 25. I like the trend toward televising almost all of our road conference games.

There's nothing like TV coverage to increase transparency on a festering problem. "Sunlight is the best disinfectant," said U.S. Supreme Court Justice Louis Brandeis when asked for comment on the benefits of televising the Mason men's basketball program, probably.
