It's our first chance to see the team live!

The exhibition is not televised.

St. Mary’s (Md) is a D3 college and competes in the United East Conference.

St. Mary’s was 10-14 overall and 6-7 in conference play last season. They were 6-5 at home, 4-7 on the road, and 0-2 at neutral sites. The Seahawks lost to #10 seed Keystone in the first round of the United East tournament.

Likely Starters:
6’9” Korey Blair - 13.9 ppg & 3.2 reb - Sophomore
6’5” James Crimaudo - 13.6 ppg & 6.4 reb - Junior
6’9” Evan Quintero - 8.5 ppg & 4.8 reb - Sophomore
6’2” Khairi Hyde - 7.2 ppg & 3.1 reb - Sophomore
6’5” Tristan Thompson - 3.7 ppg - Sophomore

Reserves:
6’3” Noah Brazil - 2.2 ppg - Sophomore
6’3” Sam Caldwell- 1.0 ppg - Sophomore
6’9” JD Salo - 5.6 ppg & 5.3 reb Grad Student
5’11” Ben Kobil - 2.6 ppg - Senior
6’3” Josh Maher - 1.0 ppg - Sophomore

Roster:
Schedule:
Stats:

Last season the Seahawks averaged 69.2 points per game while giving up 72.6.

They shot 42.3% from the floor and 30.9% from 3.
Opponents shot 41.6% from the field and 41.6% from 3.

The Seahawks shot 67.1% from the free throw line.

They out-rebounded opponents by 1.5 boards per game and averaged 17.8 turnovers per contest.

25-26 Stats:
Thoughts: They have good size for a D3 team. They were a very young team last year with seven freshmen playing significant minutes. They no doubt struggled at times due to their youth.

It’s an exhibition against a D3 opponent so anything less than a 20+ point win will be a disappointment. I will be interested to see who starts for us and if that carries over to the opener.

Discuss.

This will be our sort of first look into the new VIP hospitality area behind the hoop and the moved student section, even tho student turnout will be poor per usual. Wonder how it’ll all look

At today's women's exhibition game, the new hospitality behind the hoop "looked" pretty good--attractive bar in back with some high-top tables. Two rows of tall chairs & stools in the front part of the area (closer to baseline). There were maybe 15-20 people using the space. At the other end, only the cheerleaders were in the new student section next to the Green Machine.

In doing a few laps on the concourse, I passed the beer garden (area near where the Gold Room was). 3 or 4 beers on tap and packages of $6 chips. There were a few tables across from there with Mason gear. I never saw any potential customers there--only 3-4 tending their stations.

700 + people in attendance today; not sure what it will look like with a more typical crowd for the men's games.
