Looking like most likely 4 chances at Q1 games. Probably have to go 3-1 to have a solid case for an at large unless we’re perfect in Q3/Q4.

I did not realize that South Florida is taking on St. Joe's (Veteran's classic at Navy), @ Mason, St. Louis (a10/american in Columbus) and @Dayton.

Patriot Pressure is going to be turnt to the max level on Feb 26
Based on Roster Construction on paper, USF will be the toughest OOC Opponent to visit EBA by a country mile in about 5 years...at least.

UMKC - could be a potentially hard opponent. Mark Turgeon has put together a team littered with experienced P4 transfers..alot P4 size too.

Let’s hire their OOC scheduler!

Perhaps that is a ray of hope that if we can finally get over the hump and make the NCAAT then the scheduling gates will open.

I guess this can go here... but this sucks... thanks NCAAT expansion. Probably means only one of the A10 teams will make it

In the aftermath of the NCAA tournaments expanding to 76 teams, the NIT and Women's Basketball Invitation Tournament will drop from 32 teams to 24 beginning in 2027, the NCAA announced Thursday.

Those bids will go to teams based on an average of a number of rating systems, including ESPN's Basketball Power Index, and those 12 teams will be offered the chance to host at least one game.

The NCAA will tweak the selection process for both secondary postseason tournaments. The men's field will guarantee a bid to each of the top 10 conferences according to Ken Pomeroy's rankings as well as one bid each for the ACC and SEC.

For the WBIT, teams must have at least a .500 record to be eligible for selection, with the NCAA Evaluation Tool and wins above bubble serving as primary factors in consideration.

The teams identified as the First Four Out for the NCAA tournament will receive No. 1 seeds in the NIT and WBIT.

All NIT games will take place at campus sites until the final, which for the second straight year will be held around the NCAA Final Four. This season, the NIT final will take place at Detroit Mercy on April 4, a day before the NCAA championship game at Ford Field.

Sounds like JMU will be part of the American Conference starting next year (27-28 SY?)

James Madison has accepted membership into the American Conference and will become a full league member no later than July 1, 2028, the university announced Monday.
James Madison's board of visitors voted unanimously Monday to authorize the university to notify the Sun Belt Conference that the Dukes are

With the season coming very soon, here are some highlights from this past season.

Mason beat ODU 73-61, where Riley Allenspach had a huge first half. This was the game where Mason celebrated the 20th anniversary of the 2006 Final Four, and Coach L was in attendance. Mason will play ODU again in Fairfax.

I know most schools are out but why the F is the season opener at 4PM on a weekday?!?!?!?!!?!?!
Because George Mason.
My understanding is that the plan was to open the home schedule on Monday, with both teams playing that night. The rest of that week got complicated: Election Day falls on Tuesday, and we were also trying to land a second home game, which may have been in partnership with our MTE, believe it or not. Because of that, both games ended up on Monday.

Since the women are facing a quality opponent rather than a cupcake, they got the prime-time slot.

Otherwise yes, because George Mason.

Maybe even more reason not to wait so long to accept games with opponents... I mean if that has been happening...

I whole heartedly agree. I know scheduling is a challenge, and I get the issues with it. But somehow there needs to be significant improvement. But I can beat that drum all day.

I am confused on the two ticket offers. What am I misunderstanding? I'm looking at row B seats for the Pressure pack. 4 games. If I get two sets, that's 485. If I instead get a ten game flex plan, that is 405 dollars for rows AA-F. Is that two more tickets and a 80 dollar savings to not get committed into certain games? Can I turn these vouchers in online immediately to get the same seats? What's the catch? Do I need to call and have them pick my seat for a big hassle and worse seats?
