Its probably best to not say anything here. Its obvious the AD wants to keep things under wraps.I can’t say, but he’s definitely in the know. 2 degrees of separation, at most.

1 million for a guy who wasn’t even our best player seems far fetched
Welcome to CBB in 2026. GW paid Jean Aranguren nearly $1 million to return next year and he wouldn’t have made an A-10 5th team if there was one. (This one I know with more certainty)1 million for a guy who wasn’t even our best player seems far fetched
Good for him. Hes that good!
In my opinion he was our best player. He didn’t score as much as Mincy, but he didn’t turn the ball over. That’s worth a lot!1 million for a guy who wasn’t even our best player seems far fetched
Is that the number?Welcome to CBB in 2026. GW paid Jean Aranguren nearly $1 million to return next year and he wouldn’t have made an A-10 5th team if there was one. (This one I know with more certainty)
Based on what I've been told from a couple of friends around the country who are in the rev share/NIL world, Mincy is probably looking at around double that.Love Jahari but he’s not a million dollar guy for us. If that’s what he’s getting elsewhere he’s making the right move for himself and his family by taking it.
Mincy on the other hand, might be worth somewhere in the neighborhood of a million.
The market is not sustainable. It is literally destroying incentive to even try to compete for anyone outside the top 75-100 programs. And as usual Mason is right on the fringe — not enough resources to really be a player at the top of our league, but enough to at least dream big about catching another March heater.Based on what I've been told from a couple of friends around the country who are in the rev share/NIL world, Mincy is probably looking at around double that.
The market is wild right now.
Woof I was thinking he’d go for 1-2-1.5, 2 mil is crazy work. Good for him and all, but damn 2 mil for an undersized guard coming off a thumb injury, in this economy?Based on what I've been told from a couple of friends around the country who are in the rev share/NIL world, Mincy is probably looking at around double that.

and likely going somewhere he's going to lose 20 gamesWoof I was thinking he’d go for 1-2-1.5, 2 mil is crazy work. Good for him and all, but damn 2 mil for an undersized guard coming off a thumb injury, in this economy?
A minor inconvenience when you are richand likely going somewhere he's going to lose 20 games
Its like when Mason finishes in the 75-125 NET ranking. Not good enough to be a value to a P4 but no incentive for many programs to play. lol. Dead zoneThe market is not sustainable. It’s called no man’s land for a reason lol.
I'm hearing the new slogan is going to be: "Mason basketball... just good enough to frustrate you."And as usual Mason is right on the fringe — not enough resources to really be a player at the top of our league, but enough to at least dream big about catching another March heater.

Didn't see that one coming. I thought he wasn't eligible for rev share or NIL, which removed most of the portal incentive.Stas to the portal.
Meh.
For Aranguren? YesIs that the number?
