Thanks for posting! Even had a quick comment from Tony!

It's on Monumental (FIOS fairfax-576) at Noon. Chance for Shane to preview what he'll bring next season!

Air ball. A 3 pt make! Uncontested dunk! Rebound. over about a 2 min span.
Another Lay-up....significant contributor to 14-4 run by Cap All-stars.

Typical all-star game. Jimmy Patsos with continual narration on various coaches he knows and where players are going to college. Patsos did mention that Pendergrass won't be a freshman at Mason (implying he's an immediate contributor).
JP Finley does a short interview with Shane's Mom during a time-out.

FYI. Monumental is rebroadcasting the Capital Classic from yesterday at noon today. Channel 576 on Fios. I missed it yesterday so I'm looking forward to seeing Pendergrass.

Other Standout Performers:

  • Shane Pendergarass: 18 points, 5 rebounds (George Mason Commit)

Good find! Glad that Pendergrass got a mention. The box score is nowhere to be found (by me, anyway).

Ant Brown was the real standout of the game, both shooting and passing. Oladotun is also featured in this article, but IMO , more due to his very high ranking than his performance, which was good, but nowhere near as dominant as Brown. My guess is that Shane's numbers were better, but without the box score I can't prove it.

Also, because Oladotun is headed for UMd and is being mentored by Terp alum Walt Williams, he got a lot of promo from the announcers. To be fair, as is typical for all-star games, the announcers had nothing but high praise for each of the players as well as the prominence and history of the Capital Classic.
