Do you have the ones getting paid?

I can’t say much without breaking privacy but yes, sometimes. And I don’t see much difference in effort between a women’s soccer player, an hockey player, a wrestler, and a football player usually.

And granted it’s not like I’m a magnet for student-athletes or anything. I teach a required class and they wind up in there sometimes.

GIVING DAY 2023
Skinn, booker, and Kanga were at GMUs NIL expo last night. Good sight to see in hopes they all return.

The event was for all GMU athletes to connect to businesses in our area for potential NIL deals.
This looks like authentic NIL. Good on Mason. But guess what, it doesn't work as well as pay to play. lol

Good on Tony (and Marvin) for trying to raise $ any way they can through the business community. We all know Mason will do the right thing and start funding rev share at a competitive level only after exhausting all other options.

Preferred Walk-On
The NFL that I knew as a kid is gone. "Money and twenty plus years of Dan Snyder, just about killed it. College Basketball that I knew as a kid is gone "Money and " The N.I.L" killed it Pro Hoops that I knew as a kid have "long been gone", forty years of professional incompetence in Washington killed it. (What's a "Wizard"? .Hockey is a "foreign sport" Meh'. Baseball is in a state flux now. I wonder if the the Lerner kids will spend money like Daddy did? Probably not.......I'm too old for this. .
