GIVING DAY 2023
Lots of former Mason players off to a strong start to the season. Thought this would be a useful place to track them if anyone is interested, given all of the turnover we’ve had the last few years.

Keyshawn Hall: 24.3 ppg, 11 rpg for Auburn
Gio Emejuru: 18.5 ppg, 11.5 rpg for ECU
Baraka Okojie: 15 ppg, 6 apg for Mercer
Devin Dinkins: 14.5 ppg, 2.5 apg for Manhattan
Austin Ball: 14 ppg, 6 rpg for E. Kentucky
Bryson Cokley: 12.5 ppg, 3 rpg for Elon
Justin Begg: 10.5 ppg, 4 apg for Sam Houston St
Jeremiah Quigley: 10.5 ppg, 5 apg for Binghamton

Good to see guys having success after leaving Fairfax. The talent was there, just needed to find a better level for them.

"GREENVILLE, N.C. – Giovanni Emejuru had a game-high 23 points and 10 rebounds as East Carolina held off Elizabeth City State, 71-70, inside Williams Arena at Minges Coliseum on Thursday night."

"After ECSU took a 55-53 lead with just over 10 minutes to play, ECU answered with a 6-0 run capped by a dunk from Emejuru to go in front 59-55 at the 8:37 mark. Emejuru's second-chance dunk with 1:31 remaining gave the Pirates a 71-65 lead but ECSU came back with a three-pointer and a pullup jumper from Jaquantae Harris made it a one-point game with 47 seconds to go.

Coming out of a timeout, the Pirates' 20th turnover of the night gave ECSU one last chance to win the game, but ECU's defenders swarmed the driving layup attempt to force a turnover and end the game."

"The Bearcats are coming off an 83-70 loss at Georgetown on Wednesday. In the game, Binghamton was within five at half and stayed connected the entire 40 minutes, though its seven-man rotation eventually succumbed to the size and depth of the Hoyas. Junior guard Jeremiah Quigley had team-highs of 17 points and eight assists"

"QUIGLEY PILING UP POINTS, ASSISTS

Junior point guard Jeremiah Quigley is quickly starting to assert himself early in his Bearcat tenure. In his last three games, he is averaging 14.3 points and 6.3 assists. He leads the America East in assists (5.8) and ranks 14th in scoring (12.3)."

Quigley played all 40 minutes against Georgetown. Be nice if the team actually contended for the America East title. Hasn't happened in a long time.
