Rushing Court Photos/question

Hi everyone! I just joined, but have been reading your posts for awhile.

I am the account manager for the Barstool account here at GMU! Im looking to REALLY build hype around this season from students, to create a real home court advantage! I have 2 questions:

1. If anyone has a higher quality photo of the 2024 court rush vs. Dayton I would LOVE it to post. On the post I can give credit!!

2. If there's any ideas from you all, who have been following GMU for wayyy longer than I have, on posts/things we can do to build even more hype around the season PLEASE let me know!!!

Hiya - welcome.

You can check out this thread: https://www.masonhoops.com/threads/gameday-experience.895/ for just about every topic about how to make our games more fun, what our students used to be like, etc etc etc.

As far as a picture from the court storm, you may want to check with @thebiasedannouncer or some of the other By George folks as they may have some materials.

Anything you can do to improve/increase student attendance will be greatly appreciated. I'm expecting a slight drop in season tickets this year due to the price increase so we need the students more than ever. Please make the January 10 game against vcu a priority. Many nights in the past it has looked and sounded like a road game. Tailgating tends to draw students out. Best of luck.

The GMU Men's Basketball Facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/MasonMBB/) probably has some good pictures of the court storming.

Here is a video of the court storm that you can use (just remember to give credit)

Also, I think you should post about the Women's Basketball team as well, Coach Vanessa is going a really good job over there and they deserve the support and recognition as well.

I definitely want to make that vcu game a big priority. I dont understand the full process of creating the schedule but why in the world is it during winter break??? When students will be hard pressed to show up. Otherwise, looking to boost all games!! Ive been in contact with mason athletics so hopefully working together with them can help!!

That’s on the league. And the league does not respect George Mason nor our rivalry with vcu.

And this despite one of the best A10 finals in a long time. Even fans of other schools talked about how good that environment was.

Now it could also be that they put that game on a Friday think ESPN would pick it up and they passed. But I prefer theory number 1.
