Those refs calling every little tick tack foul tried to gift wrap that game to Dayton but not today you little whores.

To all the Ronnie haters where you all at!? He single handedly carried us to this win tonight with his drives, jumpers, and FT's. He didn't back down after Smith was talking crap to his face in the 2nd half..... he rose up to the challenge!

Cooper was huge as well, big time 3's and layup drives when we needed someone to step up!

These 2 guys showed some big sacks tonight and played out of their minds.

Great win!!! Suck it Dayton and your hometown refs!

People were hating on Ronnie because at the time he deserved it.
Now, he doesn't, and they aren't.

wow these refs were horrible. Totally in Daytons back pocket. fouls on Malik Henry were ridiculous.
in spite of them Mason got it done. Polite was just fantastic. He made a jump shot that i have never seen from him. How he made free throw after free throw was top dog. A win like this is coming at the right time. Kick Fordham's butt, and on to Richmond, which I will attend. Just a great night.

Those officials would have called a foul on Oduro while he was sitting on the bench if they could have.
I was worried about their last 2 reviews, thinking they would call a flagrant on Cooper for his elbow and then on Holmes' court length pass possible being last touched by Saquan. The latter would have given the Flyers the ball at their offensive end with 4 sec left to get off a quality shot. If the refs were real homers, those would have been relatively easy to make.

Ronnie's play can be maddening at times, but there's no question he's a steady presence, overall. It's also clear we can't win without him. I've enjoyed watching him progress throughout A10 play. You never want to see your point guard dribble off his foot while casually bringing the ball up court, but when he has made mistakes he hustles to try and make up for it.

He's hitting damn near 40% of his threes during league play, has become more assertive on offense, and is encouraging to his teammates. Everything you want from a floor general.

And kudos to KE and staff for great defensive schemes during this streak. Didn't realize we're top 3 defensively in the A10, but after the last 4 games, I can't say I'm surprised.

Onward and upward!

Completely agree. I’ve been hard on Ronny and still think we put too much on him. I wish every night he played like he did tonight because it would be a much different conversation. As he goes the team goes, and he did well so we did well. I love when he can get to the rim, when he finds our big in the post or just says f**k it and swishes a three with confidence.

our defense really stepped up tonight and made it tough. We were fighting through screens and even if Holmes got his, he was being bumped and forced to make some really tough shots.

Also I gotta shoutout Singleton. He got called out by coach and he’s really embracing his 6th man role. He plays solid defense, helps with ball handling and he had some really nice putback layups tonight.

Playing good ball in February is always fun and I have hope we can make a bit of a run in Brooklyn. But before that hopefully we can finish strong.

Ronny has 2 more years of eligibility left. If tonight was a preview of things to come, all the talk of having to find a PG in the portal was premature and is frankly gonna look very stupid.

Malachi Smith is regarded as one of the better PGs in the A-10 and Ronnie completely dominated him tonight. For the first time since Otis he gave us somebody at that spot who could go 1-on-1 and score late in the clock when we had nothing going.

Hope he’s ready to turn the corner and play consistently like a upper-tier A-10 PG — if he does this team is dangerous.

If that's the Ronny we get the rest of the season ... hoo boy.

I liked that even when Ronny was on the floor, we had Saquon, Devin, Coop, and even Ticket handling the point at moments. Obviously that only works if those guys make good decisions, but tonight they did, and it allowed Ronny to be Ronny when we really needed him. I think he had two of the prettiest jump shots I've ever seen from him - the second 3 in the first half and the midrange jumper in the second half.

I actually didn't think the refs were that horrible. Ticky-tack, yes, but most of those calls were fouls on the replays. And they took Camara out of the game with the fouls they called on him. Holmes needed someone else to help him, and no one did.

Only thing that scared me tonight was the holes Dayton was finding for open 3s in the middle part of the game.

Can't wait for Wednesday night. Let's keep it going. One win at a time. Most important game on our schedule is whatever the next game is.

Yea it was frustrating to see him dribble it off his foot but I'll chalk that one up to Ojiako being out of place as Ronnie was driving, think it messed him up as Ojiako was cutting towards the hoop at the same time. The replay shows Ronnie going up to Ojiako and telling him he was out of position/didn't expect him to cut at the same time.

Henry played some great defense against Holmes.

To be the turd in the punch bowl for a second, I did not think we played very well defensively. I don't think the coaches will be happy with that side of the ball either. Holmes caught the ball way too deep for my liking all game, and could have had 40 if he made his free throws. Dayton shot almost 60% from 3 too. The officiating made it tough to do anything about that, but I still wouldn't call it a good defensive effort.

On the positive side, we won the turnover battle and shot better from the line. Oduro looked good aside from foul trouble. Ronnie was phenomenal. Coop hit some big shots. Saquan gave us the best version of him.

At the end of the day, it's nice to beat a top A-10 team without a lot of minutes from your star player and without great contributions from his backups. This is not this team's ceiling. Let's hope they can keep putting the pieces together.

I hated the refs because they called a foul on every possession it felt like. But if I’m being honest, I think the calls went both ways.

Polite is clearly a good Pg. But he’s struggled to stay healthy for whatever reason. So we still need more depth at the position.

I’m sure dinkins will continue to improve, but he’s not getting any bigger.
