Tommy Humphries to Furman. Great spot for him, quality program and Bob Richey is an excellent coach.

Yeah, no offense to Tommy, but after watching all the guys we were after, he was last on my list. This is a good pairing - he can be successful there.

The cliff notes breakdown on White.

Went to Helias Catholic High School - not a basketball power in Missouri by any means, but led them to their first state title game last year. Decided to transfer to The Skill Factory in Georgia next season. Played for Brad Beal Elite on the circuit. He’s around 6’2”/6’3” - is a PG but could play SG as well. His shot looks a little unorthodox, but it works for him. He’s an outstanding shooter, especially from long range and can hit well beyond the three point line. Probably had his best game at the Peach Jam against Team Takeover which I’m sure didn’t hurt with Kim/Nate in attendance. This has probably been posted before, but:

White’s stroke reminds me of Bones Hyland — releases the ball more at forehead level than above his head — but you can’t argue with the results. Kinda surprised he isn’t being pursued more heavily after playing so well at Peach Jam … coaches probably see him as a tweener.

I'm hoping the personal relationship between Bradley Beal and KE brings this player to GMU

Question: ByGeorge/GiantKiller will be doing another #TalkWithUs Spaces Thursday night. Recruiting will be a topic and I am considering inviting one of our upcoming official visitors on for a live interview.

Show of hands: Who would listen?

Last thing I want is to have a recruit come into a spaces that only has 12 people in it.

I’d listen but I can’t promise how long I’d stay and all that.

I’d love it and listen but based off the past “spaces”, I think it’s risky and the turnout would be suspect.

More from Jace Posey... https://247sports.com/Article/4-sta...rge-Mason-Arizona-State-Vanderbilt-191729441/

The four visits he's set up are TCU, Mason, Arizona St. and Vandy. He's already been to TCU. He would like to make an announcement in 'mid-September or earlier'.

"The coaching staff and community seem excited to have me on the visit, so I’m looking forward to it."

From a recruiting standpoint we will cover our upcoming official visitors: Jace Posey, Austin Ball, Desmond White, and reveal another really highly regarded prospect who is currently scheduled to visit in mid-September. Non-conference schedule, KE podcast, and practice insights as well.

It starts at 9pm tonight on the @ByGeorgeGMU twitter account. Come hang out.

GIVING DAY 2023
Mike Williams has announced his 5 official visits and not surprisingly (given our public interest in other guards) Mason is not on the list. He is taking an unofficial to vcu, but his officials will be Clemson, DePaul, Syracuse, Wake and LSU.
