again like everyone a couple weeks ago agreed when Mintz decommitted... if he wants a spot on GMU he will be on GMU next year. I think we have a few guys who probably see some writing on the wall I would hope...

I feel like that is what happened with Fernandez. They took Walker's commitment first, not knowing if Justyn would be coming. Then he wanted in, so the staff went 1 scholarship over.

Now we are back to even. So we will see if they push for another. Or if a Mintz type wants in.

I’m going out on a limb and predicting we will not begin summer workouts with 5 PGs on the roster. Even 4 is a lot…

there is some real grey area on if Cooper comes back and if a scholarship is necessary to be taken up on him (we may have an open scholly at it is). They also have a couple folks that aren't going to be on the team next year certainly so it will be interesting how it all pans out. Dinkins coming in sure makes it a tough look for the PG position especially given how some have played this year

Assuming JF slides into Schwartz’s spot, getting another year of Cooper with XJ/Dinkins, Gaines and Oduro would maintain a dynamic core 5 to go with whatever additional talent Kim brings in.

If Cooper isn’t coming back, gotta imagine they’ll hit the portal for a SG … unless they can land an elite HS recruit like Mintz

I’d be surprised if Hartwell returns, especially if Polite takes most of his minutes when he comes back. Gray or Polite might also leave (or both depending) with Dinkins coming in. It all really depends on what happens at the 2 and if Blake develops into a starter at the 4.

They will sign another recruit and I wouldn’t be surprised if they already have eyes on some potential transfers coming in.

These guys that are sitting the bench not getting minutes will find places they can play without having to sit a year.
