GIVING DAY 2023
I was on campus so I drove by to see, it's real. Photo won't post from my phone but signs on the door say "permanently closed."

Damn, this sucks. I've tried to make a concerted effort to go to Brions more often during the pandemic to help support them, wish that there was something folks could have done if they knew they were in this bad of trouble. Bad timing, they just completed that huge reno right before COVID, couldn't have helped this.
Yeah, I live too far away to eat there very often in the offseason, but I would have donated if I knew it was this serious.

I feel like money could have easily been raised through a gofundme if allowed - wondering if Brion was too proud or just over it all?

Its not super convenient, but maybe athletics can use the space as a hospitality/hosting space

It was already that to a degree anyway. Expanded Gold Room! haha.

It's a sad day indeed. Glad I got stop by a few weeks ago while in town for my son's soccer tourney. The food was great. If the rent couldn't be paid then maybe the landlord knows they can get a national chain to come in. Which also is sad bc we need more independent restaurants like Brions. Im sure they already have someone ready to take that space. Rent must ridiculous for a restaurant so it could become a medical office or something.
