His goal apparently is to play his final year close to home. Mason is obviously full at the moment, but I have to think JMU will try to get him as will pretty much any VA or MD school. Lets hope he doesn't end up at vcu or GW.

Do you think Crean told him there won't be much PT available?

No idea. I am actually surprised he hasn't gone pro yet.

I don't think there are a lot of pro opportunities at the moment with the pandemic. I've listened to some of the Ex-Pat interviews and it seems like a lot of teams were struggling financially even before the pandemic. Can't imagine their financial positions now.

Based on the timing of him entering the portal late, def something seems weird about it though. Crean is entering his 4th year on a 6 year contract with a 41-49 Overall Record and 14-40 Conference Record and needs to turn the program around quick or its his a**. Even though Kier was a starter and played decent, its not like he was a difference maker. It's very possible they hinted his PT would diminish this year.

Georgia added a 4 star JUCO SG transfer yesterday so I am sure that had a lot to do with the timing/Kier wanting to leave.

Last season, Ahmad Dorsett was promoted to associate head coach -

"'My goal is to ultimately one day lead my own Division I program,” he said. 'This is another positive step in that direction. To have the trust of Coach Jones and him allowing me to be involved in all on- and off-the-court aspects of the program to further prepare me to be a Division I head coach is huge for my growth, so I will be well-prepared when the opportunity arises.'”

He was Cam Long's coach at Freedom High School, wasn't he?

AJ posted on Twitter, he is a college graduate. I hope he graduated as a Patriot and not a cock.

I’m wondering if he graduated from Mason or USC? Hopefully Mason.

My sources indicate he graduated from South Carolina.

Admissions accepted all his transfer credits from George Mason and he was granted a South Carolina degree despite him not completing one class there. Almost unprecedented.

He is also now fourth on the all time blocks list at USC despite not playing a game for them, because the Mason statistician also transferred there.

Lol. It’s not a ridiculous far-fetch idea that USC would enable him to finish his degree online and take a fake class or two.

SEC schools are known to bend the rules.
