I just got home from teaching, so I was just thinking...man, if my team lost to Mason that badly, I'd be VERY upset. I've got to watch it tonight to see what happened.
I understand that all players are granted an extra year of eligibility. So could we potentially get AJ for a 6th year?
Im eyeballing...but it looks there were more post pre game than in game during a win. Wow..how far we have fallen....
I want losses. Get that dude outta here. Every win over bad teams gives bad management the formula, in their own empty minds, to keep that bum around or even extend.
Lasalle sucks but it’s good to see mason win big despite obvious deficiencies. This is how they should play against all weak competition.
**worse. The wins are gonna be far and few between this year, crack open the good bourbon tonight and enjoy it when we can.
Wish we could do more to stop the penetration and kickouts instead of letting it happen and hoping the team misses the shots. A better team exploits all the cheap giveaways Mason had in the second part of the first half and start of the second. I do like how Greene played tonight. He had a good game, especially his movement off the ball getting into the right spots to receive a pass from teammates in danger (wish more players would do that too). edit: because the walk-ons hadn't come on yet when I posted...gotta love Tempchin's moxie.
If the quartet of Wilson-Greene-Miller-Oduro played like that on a consistent basis, I don’t think we’d have a “fire the coach” thread glued to the top of the board. Unfortunately by now we know who these guys are. They’re all just too up and down to compete at the upper end of the A-10
LaSalle was just totally incompetent...haven’t seen a team that bad in awhile. We may still have hope of escaping the PIG. Dominated the paint, rebounding and the Wilson/Oduro combo was very efficient. Sit XJ until he is right...he’s not a great shooter and his injuries have made him unable to get in the paint. Nice to see Henry get some run...a bucket and a block. Just glad to see Mason not blow a big lead...it’s been a long time.
A few weeks ago I posted that the starting “5” should be Kolek, Greene, Miller, Wilson and Oduro. Frankly, they each need to play at least 33-36 minutes per game going forward. Almost all of the top teams in the A-10 have their starters playing 35+ minutes each game. Shorten the bench and play your best five the remainder of the A-10 schedule.
18 - 69 from the field and 3-23 from deep for the Explorers. Wow. That truly was a bricklayers convention.
