There’s no Siena connection. Billups was a local guy and Emejuru is a Ekanem connection from Sam Houston State.

Gio was a Kenpom MVP in 2 games this year, although Siena lost both. Only .595 on FTs for the season (roughly halfway between Malik and Amari but 27/35 in his last 7 games.

Hope that is a sign of genuine improvement and not just a fluke, as he was 16th nationally in FT rate (Baraka was 6th, DaRon Holmes was 20th).
