Very nice work by the Patriot Club on putting together this website. They have launched a fundraising campaign explaining what they can use a hand with as they continue the maneuver the pandemic. If you are able, I encourage you to give even a small donation as I know we have some very passionate fans on here. https://gomason.com/feature/BeAPatriotCampaign
In conjunction, they should sell team issued adidas Mason apparel or auction off game used Jerseys. I'd pay good money for a team signed Jersey.
Hope to see some of your names on this list: https://gomason.com/sports/2020/9/27/donor-wall-be-a-patriot-campaign.aspx
I was very pleased to see this. Mason doesn't typically make this much information available online. Hopefully the time and effort that were put into making a complete and detailed website will be rewarded with new donors.
So, are they saying I should cancel my regular Patriot Club donation and give a $100 to this? FWIW, my wife would love that option.
Yeah honestly I’m a little confused (and it may just be because I’m slow), should we donate to this or wait until we make our yearly donation to the patriot club? Or is there no difference?
So this is supposed to be a fundraising drive, and they are asking that since seating probably won’t exist, to donate to this what you normally would (or are able) to this fundraiser. This is supposed to help with some of the hit from the pandemic. That’s how I understand it, but if you have more direct questions, ask Greg Kennedy.
The season ticket holders section of the website makes it pretty clear IMHO: They are looking for the revenue they would get from STH, and they are looking for people to give extra if they are able. If you regularly give in other ways, I'm sure they'd like you to continue doing what you're doing.
So you're proud to have gotten a call and told Mason Athletics no for the first time in 30 years? Ok cool.
program changing and long time donor no longer donating doesn't equate to bragging about not donating to me LOL.
Mason baseball is raising money for a new outfield wall. https://gomason.com/feature/Mason-Baseball-Fundraising The current wall was built in the summer of '95 or '96. It seems that this effort is not connected in any way with the Be a Patriot Campaign.
