GIVING DAY 2023

"A transfer from Nicholls State (2023-25) and George Mason (2021-22), Gray Jr. will have one year of eligibility remaining. He did not play basketball during the 2022-23 season."
roster list at WSU not updated
i suspect he is the 15th player added
i hope he has enough transfer credits to get a degree

I just saw that Eric Skeeters is no longer listed on the WBB coaching staff. Anyone know what happened? I was going to text Chris Kreider and see if he knew, but wanted to ask here first.

"Dunn spent six seasons as an assistant coach and international recruiter at George Mason prior to his seasons at CSU. During his time with the Patriots, he helped develop back-to-back A-10 Players of the Year while also guiding the team to the most wins in a single-season in program history during the 2017-18 campaign. On top of his duties as an assistant coach, Dunn also severed as the scheduling and scouting coordinator while also assisting as the academic liaison."

"Bill Courtney, a veteran basketball coach with 30 years of experience, has been named an assistant coach for the Temple University men’s basketball program, head coach Adam Fisher announced.

Courtney joins the Owls after spending the past five seasons at Miami (Fla.), where he helped guide the Hurricanes to three NCAA Tournament appearances, including a run to the 2023 Final Four. He most recently served as Miami’s interim head coach for the final 19 games of the 2024–25 season following the retirement of legendary head coach Jim Larrañaga. Both Fisher and Courtney served as assistant coaches under Larrañaga at Miami for two seasons in 2019-20 and 2020-21."

"Courtney has coached in nine postseason tournaments, including three NCAA Tournaments, four NITs and two CBI appearances. In addition to his time at Miami, he has held assistant coaching roles at American (1995–96), Bowling Green (1996–97), George Mason (1997–2005), Providence (2005–06), Virginia (2006–09), Virginia Tech (2009–10), and DePaul (2017–19).

He is also credited with helping recruit and build the George Mason team that made a historic run to the 2006 NCAA Final Four under Larrañaga. During his eight seasons with the Patriots, including time as associate head coach, he helped guide the program to two CAA regular-season titles and four postseason appearances (1999 and 2001 NCAA Tournaments, plus NIT and CBI bids)."

"A native of Alexandria, Va., Courtney played collegiately at Bucknell, where he earned All-Patriot League honors as a senior and graduated in 1992 with a degree in education. He was inducted into the Bucknell Athletics Hall of Fame in 2007 and remains among the program’s all-time leaders in points and assists."

"New York Knicks

Tyler Kolek | PG
2024 draft: Round 2, No. 34

Even as a high second-round pick, Kolek played sparingly off the Knicks' bench last season. His pathway to minutes is still limited, with Jordan Clarkson figuring into the depth mix with Deuce McBride, but Kolek should get to run the team in Las Vegas and make a case for himself. He's a quality playmaker who deserves more opportunity, but doesn't offer much from a physical perspective running the second unit. -- Woo"
