I’m sure a lot of yall have come across the Outdoor Boys channel over the years. He’s got a pretty big following…16M followers on YouTube. Basically a guy that makes makeshift shelters in the woods and camps out in the snow in the middle of Alaskan winters. Anyways I just read that the guy, Luke Nichols did his J.D at Mason. Just thought it was cool bc I’ve definitely seen some of his videos throughout last decade.

Yea, picked up on that awhile ago. Wonder what kind of law he practices (if he currently practices) up in Alaska.

Per his linkedin, his concentration was traffic law (DUI, reckless driving, speeding). Looks like he hasn't practiced law since April 2020. He def made a lot from his youtube channel. Every single one of his videos averages 10M+ views.
Never heard of it. Camping out is not my thing and "in the snow" is a real deal-breaker! To each his own, I guess.
Guess that's why his videos are popular. People vicariously living through him. Wondering what its like to camp in sub freezing temperatures doing manly things but not actually doing it ourselves.
Would that be considered a promotion?

Bethune-Cookman University Head Women's Basketball Coach Janell Crayton Del Rosario announced today the hiring of Amber Easter as an assistant coach for the Wildcats

"Easter also gained valuable experience as Director of Basketball Operations at George Mason (2017-2019) where she was part of a staff that earned hosting rights in the Atlantic 10 Tournament for two years including the No. 4 seed in the conference and a school-record 24 wins in 2018. She helped manage all facets of the Patriots women's basketball program under head coach Nyla Milleson, working with the coaching staff on video operations, overseeing the team schedule and coordinating team travel and practices."
"In her playing time at George Mason, she accumulated more than 1,000 career points, finishing her career in 2013 ranking 11th on the Patriots' all-time scoring charts with 1,277 points. She also ranked ninth in career rebounds (753), ninth in blocks (65), 17th in assists (192) and 20th in steals (135), all while averaging 10.6 points and 6.3 rebounds in 120 career games.
Previously competing in the Colonial Athletic Association (CAA) – prior to GMU's move to the A-10, Easter collected numerous conference honors which included Second Team All-CAA during her senior year. Additionally, she was honored to the All-CAA Rookie Team."

Former Patriot Maggie Mrowka Named Head Softball Coach at The College of Charleston - George Mason University Athletics
FAIRFAX, Va. – Former George Mason softball player Maggie Mrowka has been named the head coach of the College of Charleston softball program.

"Mrowka becomes the youngest Division I softball coach in the nation. She served as an assistant coach for the Cougars the last two seasons and helped guide the club to the most conference wins in program history in 2025.
Mrowka played 23 games as a graduate student with the Patriots in 2023 and was selected Easton/NFCA All-America Scholar-Athlete. She earned a master's degree in sports and recreation from George Mason.
Prior to becoming an assistant coach at the College of Charleston, Mrowka stayed active in the Fairfax, Va. area providing on-field hitting and fielding coaching for US9 Baseball and Softball and assisted with the Fairfax Firebirds travel organization.
Mrowka played at Lake Braddock Secondary School, where she was a two-time All-Conference selection, two-year captain and team MVP in 2018 with the Bruins."
