Yes it was, and I remembered they rescheduled it for a future tournament, just didn't know what year.

By the way, of course they have to beat Penn State. Looks like they are 1-3 against them this season, losing both games up there and splitting two games in Fairfax (and of course the game is in Pennsylvania). Maybe they'll get lucky.

"UNIVERSITY PARK, PA–Third-seeded NJIT defeated sixth-seeded George Mason, 3-1, in the quarterfinals of the EIVA Conference Tournament hosted by Penn State inside Rec Hall Wednesday afternoon.

NJIT (16-10) won the first two sets – 34-32, 25-20 while George Mason forced a fourth set after a 25-21 victory in the third frame. The Highlanders secured the 3-1 victory with a 25-21 win in the fourth frame to advance to the EIVA Conference semifinals on Thursday, April 21 at 4:30pm against second-seeded Harvard.

The last time NJIT recorded a victory in the postseason dates back to the 2008 season when the Highlanders, trailing 0-2 against Princeton, rallied back to defeat the Tigers, 3-2."

"Fairfax - George Mason has been selected to finish third in the 2024 EIVA Preseason Coaches Poll. The Patriots are only behind Penn State and Princeton who were the finalists for the 2023 EIVA Championship. Mason ended their 2023 season with an overall record of 13-15 and a conference record of 4-6, but now with a healthy squad and new recruits, Mason are in the top 3 and have also received one first-place finish vote from a conference coach.

The Puerto Rican international, Omar Hoyos and redshirt sophomore Liam French have been selected as the 2024 EIVA players to watch. Both Omar Hoyos and Liam French were the top 2 players in kills last season, leading the team's offense. Omar made 322 kills taking the first spot and Liam was right behind with 291 kills."
