Marko's Shooting Slump

Marko Gujanicic had double-figure scoring in 7 of the first 8 games this season, but none in the last 6 games (including a season-low 2 points at ODU). He shot 50.8% (31-61) from the field in the first 8 games, but just 29.4% (10-34) in the last 6 games.

Progressive homesickness? Losing sight of having something to play for as the season goes on? Buddying with Sherrod (which may mean he's about to come out of the slump)? Losing minutes (he came on late in several of the early games)? GMU chicks don't put out enough? Game plan changed to try to get his 3-pointer to fall instead of looking for him in the post?

Corey - Can't dribble now, even though was highly rated PG out of NYC.
Allen - Can't dribble in the clutch. Might join the circus after graduation.

JA and VV- Might have snuck away just in time.
Marko - Currently so fresh he can't make a 3pt shot.

Lets not pretend that Sherrod is out of his slump. I beleive he shot 4-15 the other night. He did however make 18 free throws.

Actually, he was 14-18, but I agree that it was a good night for him at the FT line.
