The gear trailer outside EBA is good, lots of people buying hats and shirts.
I had my 3 year old grandson with me and he was getting cold waiting to get into the game Sunday. Took him over to the trailer and asked if they had kids sock hats. They did. $34 later, I skulked back over to the line and tried not to tell my wife what I paid. They really need to have a price discount for kids gear.

But grandchildren are worth it. Come on. Admit it.

Or... you could have easily spent $34 on a pair of hot dogs with ketchup, a large Mtn. Dew, a bag of cold-half stale popcorn, and a cup of Dippin' Dots for the kid, plus a beer as your own reward for spoiling a grandson. Now I ask you, which purchase has the greater durability and practicality—a hat or junk food?

You think you can get all of that for anywhere close to $34?! The beer alone is nearly $20

This reminds me of taking my kids to Disney on Ice one year and spending nearly $20 on the worst snow cone (with commemorative cup) in the history of snow cones.

lol Disney on ice has always been a money pit. 90 minute show. They come out at intermission with those glowing snow cones and all the kids scream. They used to be like 15 bucks in 2004, who knows what they are now.

Took our kids to a Sesame Street show at the Richmond Colesseum about 35 years ago. Lights went out before it even started. After waiting an hour, we all had to leave in the dark.

The Richmond people and Richmond Coliseum deserves better, been 6+ years now and they still don't know what to do with it and the area. This is what happens when cities have become dependent on inept leadership over and over.... the incompetence of running that city is nothing new. Same ol crap.

If nothing else, it was memorable. :ROFLMAO:

I still remember the 7th Street debacle.

No question, the Squirrels draw very well.
Top 10 in all MiLB, I think.
Of course, I was happy with Parker Field, but yeah...;)

You probably paid about $4 for the hat and $30 for the Mason branding license

This isn't a Mason-specific problem, though. The sports industry markup on licensed gear is insane.

Heck, when I was in my last year Law School at Willian & Mary, I used to park in the Richmond Coliseum Parking Lot everyday when I worked as an intern with the Attorney General's Office in Downtown Richmond. All all I recall was the weird architecture (it always reminded a cheap seventies low budget science fiction prop of an alien space craft) and that the interior always smelled like of weird mixture of potpourri and mildew, like it had suffered a serious flood in the past.
