I hate that Spectrum now doesn't include WatchESPN (ESPN3) in my cable package. Usually a good place to find a couple Mason games a year. (WatchESPN is broadcasting the game against Louisville) Luckily, the game will be on the YES network, which spectrum has yet to take away.

I hate the quote from Paulsen I heard on WTOP Sports update today around 2pm (no other schools' coaches were heard). DP said that this is a two year build, we have no seniors on the roster and that we are aiming for next year; not that we aren't trying to win this year, but if we don't lose anyone, next year can be special.

F THAT! While I agree with everything he said, I don't want him saying that in public. That just sounds like an excuse for this year. I'd prefer to hear something like "we are looking forward to this year; we're returning a good core group of players and we have some freshmen who are going to have to play big roles for us, but that's why we recruited them to come to Mason, blah, blah, blah......"

I hate that the Post did the exact same thing today, omitting us from the "On the Air" section; but I don't hate that it means less people might watch us if we do get blown out.

I also hate that I wasn't clear in my post about last Friday's game when I said my kids wouldn't be able to make it, because I had several people tell me at the game that they thought I wouldn't be there.

Finally, I hate that I will have to turn off all social media and my phone this afternoon, because I am recording the Mason game since it coincides with the Redskins game.

They are still one of the few that put this clause in their contracts, otherwise there is no way Oklahoma, Alabama, Texas or LSU would be playing in Richmond over the years.

I hate our PA announcer. He continues to pronounce Jaire's name incorrectly. He keeps calling him Ji ear, when its Ji air. He has been told numerous times and simply doesnt listen.

I hate to say it, but we lack the talent to play at a high level. Yes, a big would make this team better. And yes, they are young. But fact is, they are not close to being a good team.
