Got the lead up to 15 early in the fourth quarter, but managed to make enough mistakes while Loyola got hot (and had the ball bounce their way more than a few times) to let them back in it. Mary A made a clean steal when we were only up 3 and we shot well from the line to keep them at arm's length.
This was the kind of game that they blew earlier against Liberty and Princeton. Glad they didn't lose another one like that as Mason was much more athletic than Loyola. With about 7 min left, I was thinking that they'd win by 20.
Walton had some real dominant stretches in the game and was clearly the best player on the court.
Didn't see MJ Johnson at the game. Sick maybe?
