Those are last season's rankingsI’m confused how tech has such a bad net ranking.
That's been true all year. I'd bet Tony is thinking of redshirting him.
What does math have to do with this? That's ridiculous! It's not like the NBA or MLB where you can be mathematically eliminated from the playoffs. We're 6 games in, for crying out loud!F**k you Jon Rothstein - in the post game studio show said mathematically impossible for Mason to get an at-large bid. The game is broken if we are going to admit that about a 6-0 team in November.

I’m not supporting what Kanga did, but I can’t believe I missed a fightDid Kanga knock that dude that's been talking shit all night dafuq out!? Lol
“Not on the level of a Loyola-Chicago” . . . That’s a rough looking take right now.Rothstein has been dissing Mason since the season began.
He watched them practice 2 hours in October and trashed the team.
I love it. Korey Mincy retweet this post to the rest of the team as Bulletin Board material.
Take his opinion with a grain of salt. He had Sivka on the starting 5.

The guys did indeed make it happenCouple notes on the Bobcats:
It's been a not as good as hoped for start by the Bobcats. A decent 4 point win over Illinois St. has been canceled out by disappointing home losses to a rebuilding Arkansas State and Bethune-Cookman. They are currently the only team in the Sunshine Slam to lose their home game to a team in the lower bracket.
Ohio's strength is in a veteran led offense that doesn't turn over the ball a ton. The offense is highlighted by a top three of Javan Simmons, Aidan Hadaway and Jackson Paveletzke. Paveletzke is the most dangerous of the bunch, having been their leading scorer in four of their five games, though Hadaway can go off as well.
They do not turnover the ball a ton and have a decent interior offense that is nearly top 100 in FG% from two. But it is marred by struggles from the line and a genuinely awful three point shooting percentage, which currently ranks at 338 in the nation. They don't get to the line a lot outside Simmons and Paveletzke, and Simmons is bad at that.
Their defense is also pretty bad so far. There's a lot of red on their defense side of their KenPom. They have one of the worst three point defenses in the entire nation, literally bottom ten, as well as a below average 2 point defense. The only saving grace for them is they have forced a lot of non-steal turnovers so far (charges, shot clock violations, stupid passes out of bounds, etc.)
If this was a true home game, I'd have zero concern. But you never know on a neutral site. The data does suggest a comfortable night for us all, but it's up to the guys to make it happen.
Because this site is still using the NET from last year when the Hokies were bad.I’m confused how tech has such a bad net ranking.
