"The Reston, Va., native led the Patriots to a decisive 2-1 series win over Rhode Island to claim the top spot in the A-10 standings for the weekend, going 5-for-10 with six RBI, five runs scored, one home run, three stolen bases and one triple. His highlight performance over the weekend was a 1.000 batting performance in Friday's walk-off win.
Quinn-Irons plated at least two RBI in all four games last week; he led the Patriot squad in slugging (1.333), runs scored (8), triples (1), home runs (3), RBI (11) and stolen bases (6).
Quinn-Irons bat came alive in the team's 16-3 win over Mount St. Mary's last Tuesday, going 4-for-5 with two home runs, five RBI, three runs scored and three stolen bases.
