Perhaps... but I'd rather see them get in then another .500 SEC teamCheck out their schedule. Very week. They aren't getting in.
They will get in if vcu loses before the A10 championship game.Perhaps... but I'd rather see them get in then another .500 SEC team
So you're saying its a lock thenThey will get in if vcu loses before the A10 championship game.
Agreed - 31-0 regular season has to be a default entry into NCAAT.Miami of Ohio will get in. Meaning the MAC will get 2 teams in now. They will be stealing Auburn, Missouri, vcu or SMU's spot.
Is it really health-related ? Maybe portal considerations---when does the portal open? After NCAA championship game or earlier?VT not going to play in the NIT even if get invited
Health related. 2 of their starters are hurt or on game minute limits. Big chance both of those guys come back to VT next year and be their center pieces so the risk / reward for this tournament just doesn't make sense to play in it in their eyes.Is it really health-related ? I wonder what it's like to lose a first round game in the NCAA tournament?vcu beats Dayton 70-62 and they get their second straight A-10 conference tournament title, their third in the last four years.
Hopefully they lose their first and only game of the 2026 NCAA tournament.
Toot bad Dayton couldn't knock them off. Pretty sure that vcu would have gotten a bid either way and the way they played through much of second half convinced me that currently they have the best chance to win an NCAA game (not that I'm rooting for that). Would have been nice to get 3 A10 teams in the NCAAs.vcu beats Dayton 70-62 and they get their second straight A-10 conference tournament title, their third in the last four years.

Not great. We were once referred to by the TV announcer as "George Masonry" due to all the bricks we were shooting.I wonder what it's like to lose a first round game in the NCAA tournament?
Well, maybe next year
