Richmond gets blown out by Nebraska 75-65i n First Four game. Was a 2 pt game at the half, and Nebraska went on a 17-0 run, outscoring the Spiders 27-6 in the 3rd quarter. Nebraska couldn't miss and Richmond, untypically, went 4-23 from 3.

Duggan ends career scoring 24 pts with 10 rebounds.

This is a way-too-early 26-27 Bracketology but is of interest in that West Virginia now appears as 25th in part due to Walton's transfer. No mention of Kennedy Harris, but I would think she is quite capable of being a significant contributor even in the Big 12.

Top scorer Gia Cooke (15.0 PPG) is staying, but that is far from the biggest news in Morgantown. Skylar Forbes, a two-time all-Big East first-teamer and one of the more versatile players in the portal, will finish her career with the Mountaineers. Her 1.8 blocks led the Big East; she also shot 34.5% from 3 while averaging 15.5 points. George Mason's top scorer, Zahirah Walton (18.1 PPG), joins Forbes and Cooke to form the new core at West Virginia.
