@FordhamMBB has named associate head coach Keith Urgo as interim head coach,.

The school said it will "begin a national search for Neptune’s replacement immediately."

Sources: Donald Copeland has officially accepted the head coaching vacancy at Wagner. Official announcement expected for today. Copeland was on staff at Seton Hall last season.

"Interim head coach Keith Urgo remains heavily in the mix and has the support of a number of players, while Rutgers associate head coach Brandin Knight, Kentucky associate to the head coach Bruiser Flint and Providence assistant coach Ivan Thomas are all interviewing, sources said.

A Washington, D.C. native, Urgo was the associate head coach under Neptune and previously spent 10 seasons on the staff at Penn State.

Several other names initially linked to the job are not interviewing, sources said."

Guys I’ve been told to watch out for are Maurice Joseph, Brett MacConnell, Tray Woodall, Eric Atkins & Karl Hobbs. More names could be considered, but these are the 5 FDU is initially focused on I’ve heard. I’d expect FDU to take their time, much like CCSU did with Pat Sellers.
