After last night's games, the new NETs are out:

Reading the tiebreaker scenarios... I believe Mason is the 3 seed for the A10 tournament if all three teams tie for first at 15-3.

As linked by @psyclone above:

"Three or More-Team Tie

1. Head-to-head competition.

a. Use each team’s record against the tied teams as a group rather than performance
against individual teams. When comparing records against a group of teams, the higher
winning percentage will prevail. In case of tied percentages vs. the team or group of
1.000 or .000, the following shall apply: 2-0 is better than 1-0; 0-1 is better than 0-2.

2. If the above results in two teams remaining, the two-team tiebreaker is used.

3. If more than two teams still remain, use the Conference record of the tied teams based on
winning percentage versus the highest common opponent and proceeding down to the
lowest common opponent, if necessary, until one team gains an advantage."


Mason is 0-1 against URI and 1-1 vs Richmond. URI is 1-1 vs Richmond and 1-0 vs Mason. Richmond is 1-1 vs URI and 1-1 vs Mason.

Mason has the lowest winning percentage, so they get the 3 seed. Richmond would get the 2 seed and URI 1 seed. I believe that would be the correct assessment reading the tie-breaking procedures above.



If GMU and Richmond are tied, Richmond gets the 2 seed and Mason 3 seed. First tiebreaker is head to head which is tied at 1-1. Second tiebreaker looks to be highest common opponent -- which I am assuming would be URI since they would be the 1 seed. RIchmond was 1-1, Mason 0-1... so Richmond gets the 2 seed and Mason 3 seed due to Richmond having the higher winning percentage.


If Mason is ends up the one seed and Richmond and URI are tied -- URI and Richmond head to head are tied 1-1. Highest common opponent used is Mason -- URI is 1-0 and Richmond is 1-1. URI has the higher winning percentage, so URI is 2 seed and Richmond 3 seed.
