2004 was the year. I haven't found the games but there is a clip or two in our top 50 plays of the decade. I think its from the UT game.

To cheat a little (as I was in middle school and high school at the time and didn’t know that gmu was a school) any of the ridiculously high scoring Paul Westhead games, win or lose.
Paul Ball was fun!
For me, the Carlos Yates games. Maybe the game he scored by fliping the ball up over David Robinson while falling down, looked up at the yet-to-be Admiral and said, "Don't worry about it, I do that all the time."
Man had the softest shot I have ever seen!

Mason's biggest comeback — 29 down with less than 12 minutes to play. Nate Langley was incredibly fun to watch.

Anniversary - on this day - GMU over UConn and to the Final Four
My guess is that Mason athletics may not even have footage of these games. I'm not sure how far their archive goes back.

I can't remember the year, maybe 1981, when Dave Skaff set the Mason record for points in a game. It was in the old gym, Father (back then he was just Peter) Nasetta had his air horn, maybe 250 people watching.
Once Skaff got rolling, the team just kept shoveling him the ball and he kept firing away. Pure shooter. Had the record for a few years before Carlos Yates beat it.
