Tournament Watch Thread

[DeepValue]

Post your thoughts about whatever you're watching.

Jamie Dixon appears to be aging in presidential years. The announcers are making excuses left and right for why Pitt is struggling at home to GW.

[Portlandian]

Miami unable to shake nc central. Only up two with 27 seconds left

[DeepValue]

Larranaga looks a bit like Boehim with the glasses. Central has been tough but the refs helped them a little at the end.

[TweederGMU]

Can't believe Ole Miss beat BYU. BYU could shoot lights out. Wow

[DeepValue]

Doesn't seem possible, but I am enjoying the Robert Morris v North Florida game right now. Also looking forward to the Dayton game.

[ArrozBlanco]

They mentioned OCM during the Bobby Morris game. What was the connection?

[DeepValue]

Ah sorry, didn't hear it.

Dayton looking pretty shaky at the half at home against Boise St--foul trouble, down 9.

Gottlieb said that one of the North Florida players almost ended up at Miami in L's first year.

As he told the story, I remembered how Gottlieb bashed Larranaga's lack of a game plan for the 'canes against Marquette in the Sweet 16.

Dayton pulls it out. A 10 now 1-0!

Dayton rallies, down 9 with ~4-5 minutes remaining, wins by one. A "no call" on Boise's last shot.

[TweederGMU]

Boise shit the bed. That was a foul on the last shot as well. Dayton escapes the home game with a W

[Walter]

I feel bad for Boise State. Bad call at end. Should not have had to play on Flyers' home court.

4-0 if you wanna count the NIT.

[Haxormax]

as an A10 fan, I loved that no call

That was the correct decision by the ref - I didn't think it was even close. I don't think the game should have been played at UD though.

[EXpatriot13]

Wasn't a foul. Dayton player landed on his feet and then the Boise player initiated contact. Dayton playing on its home floor.....well, that's a whole separate thing.

Glad the A10 is winning. Except, f*** vcu.

[Five Two]

And now Dayton gets to play their next game in Columbus. Talk about getting some breaks.

Who do they think they are? That team from Richmond!?!

Yet their fans were first to complain when they play U of Mich in Detroit
