How many former unheralded Mason players have seen the NBA recently
Tyler Kolek, Josh Oduro, Jordan Miller...none were heralded.
I like the fact that he is suppose to be a Dog on defense.
Tony stated this entire roster with defense already wired into their DNA. I love that.
I can't wait to see Shane Pendergrass. He looks and feels like a poor man's Connie Hawkins.
Peyton Miller is also going to be a very good college player, even if he doesn’t get a chance to show much this season because we have so many veteran guards.
TBF, Jordan Miller was 1st Team All Met and Tyler Kolek won player of the year for Rhode Island. So unheralded might not be completely accurate.

With all due respect, Kolek's HS offer list was lower level mid major and was unrated.

Jordan's miller high school offer list was Mason, Towson, Radford and High Point.
Neither was Close to Top 100 or even 3* out of hs.
We all no Oduro only got one offer...Mason.
The point is that it doesn't matter where they come from ..all that matters is what they do when they get here.

Weird way to say he was 4th all time in blocks for Mason.
You could say he was deficient on offense and was plagued with back injuries and maybe some character issues, but let’s give him his flowers where earned.
Let’s just say, we can save Erik Copes stories for the offseason.

I don't care about the blocks.
The "character issues" is not a throwaway...They were THE issue....character is the foundation for living up to or exceeding expectations...it's the difference between Keyshawn Hall, Josh Oduro or Riley Allensbach vs Erik Copes.
One player's character issues can destroy a locker room....Hewitt banked on him to help sustain Larranaga's success and his character issues played a major in puttingt the program in the dumpster fire and it's taken more than a decade to recover from it.
It's high time you showed up to bluntly patrol this joint and weed out the Copes comments.
