As frustrating as this is, to be fair - we got 3 excellent years out of them, with Kennedy constantly playing through injuries. Right now I'm mad, but in hindsight I'll accept its fair for them to take a shot at playing in the Big12 for their last seasons and will root for them.

True. Just sorry to see that, perhaps, our best pair of teammates on the women's side in Mason history are now gone. Certainly they've paid their dues and deserved a bigger payday.
This will be a test of our coach to see if she can put together another A10 contender without missing a beat.
Women added Lourdes Da Silva Costa from Alabama, a rising true sophomore 6'3 F - looks like a xfer down seeking more playing time. She played regularly for Bama, appearing in 26 games and averaging nearly 7 mins a game.
Hopefully she'll be a contributor down low.
(Edit: Maybe a replacement if Blair is really transferring and not returning)

Volker-->DePaul (didn't realize that her older sister played at Duke and was all Big East second team at Marquette the last 2 yrs)

Saw this in today's Patriot Brew. UNCW Tia Dobson transfers to Mason.
Looks like she may have been injured last November as she only played 2 games all season after playing 29 games her freshman year.

Tia is from Daytona Beach - which happen to be the home of Bethune-Cookman College
I am sure that every woman hoopster and her their parents/grandparents know who Coach VBL is and look up to her
