WAY better than I thought it would go. Lots of promising signs. Too little too late after that 4-game losing streak, but good signs none the less.

No lack of effort in this game. Definitely proud of the way they played on the road today.
Sucks that we had such a bad stretch of games this month. Just tough to lose this one because of it.
If Long makes anything we win that game. Tough game for him.
Allenspach played well. His effort over the last two games is much better on the defensive end even though he isn’t a very good defender.
Good to see Mincy with his mojo back.
I expect a competitive game against St. Louis on Saturday. Definitely a chance to build momentum potentially.

Different rules for different teams. Refs were beyond an epic joke. Typical trash grimmy clown show stuff from the hipsters and refs fall for it every time. If we see these jokers in Pittsburgh someone off the bench has to throw a haymaker early in the game and set the tone! A10 loves them a hipster! NO MORE!

This was the best game has played since they beat vcu on 1/10. You could tell Mason got worn out and tired at the end.

Overall, I’m very happy with how we played and competed. It was promising that Mincy had a good shooting night (although his 4 turnovers and fouls were costly).
Unfortunately, it was bad timing for Long to have a bad shooting night going 2-11. Different game if he even hit a few more shots.

With Mincy healthy we have a chance every game. Stupid TO s late by Long and Troutman hurt. Riley again On D Uggh. When Kanga and Ellington are in there our back end defense is solid not so much with Riley. Definitely encouraging signs, what a season it could have been if Mincy was healthy all year. It will be tough as a 5th or 6 seed , but you never know.
What game were you watching. vcu big guys ate him up.. Second half D by him was not good.
The phantom 4th foul on Mincy lost the game. It's funny how vcu somehow didn't get a foul called on them from 16 to 8 minute mark. Hope the guys bring the bows, the fists whatever it takes. Everything is fair in war. If we have to stoop to their level then so be it WHATEVER IT TAKES!

Several thoughts come to mind:
1. If we had played with this type of effort and intensity the losing streak never would have happened. Very proud of the effort. An A10 Tourney win is possible if we play with passion and effort.
2. Great to see Riley play with such effort! Well done young man, just keep on doing it.
3. The refs sucked. Nothing new here.
4. Welcome back Kory Mincy, you are the heart and soul of the team. As you go , we go.

Could only follow on ESPN gamecast because I don't have CBS Sports. The number of times I saw "GMU - Bad Pass Turnover" made me want to pull out what little hair I have left.
Unfortunately, since Fatt was an OUT I don’t think that's encouraging for him to be ready by the tournament
The double foul involving Ellington was even more egregious. He was literally standing there setting a screen, and the vcu defender got tangled up with him.

The phantom Mincy 4th foul, and right before it the Mincy and 1 that wasn’t called a foul.
vcu guards were throwing forearms while driving all night, it really was different rules for each team.
