If we can get the students and fans like this in EBA, we will never lose a home game ever.

Also, for homecoming we are looking to get 2,000+ students at a game for the first time since nov 8 2013. This could be BIG.

Make a free throw, arms down, "Whoosh - G! M! U! What?!" Stomping the bleachers for extra noise is also solid.

If all free throws are made in an attempt (1 if only 1, 2 if 2, 3 of 3), after last freethrow goes in "Whoosh - G! M! U! What?! Suck on that, loolooloolooloo!" with the taunting finger wiggle.

Only a few diehards in Sections 128/129 keep this beautiful tradition alive.

When a player on the opposing team fouls out, watch their feet and yell “LEFT, RIGHT, LEFT, RIGHT” as they walk over to the bench as they step with their left and right feet.

If they stand around before sitting down yell things like “KEEP GOING,” “HURRY UP,” or “AWKWARD STANDING”.

When they finally sit down on the bench, yell “SIT DOWN!!!”

Think - jumping up and down pogo-style, everyone "use the force" to direct the shot to miss, use props, etc.

Someone also needs to make a photo sign of Allen Iverson and a photo sign of Spock - get it - Allen Spock. Someone posted that on X, but I can't find it to give appropriate credit.

One thing the band used to do on opponent free throws is have a guy wear a massive, decorated box (think refrigerator sized) who would dance around while the band pointed at him and chanted “What’s in the box!”

If the player fouling out was clever enough and timed his sit-down to when our player was in the process of releasing his foul shot, the crowd's "SIT DOWN!" might actually distract the shooter.

Seems like the Green Machine playing time has been curtailed significantly in the last several games. I’m not a fan of this. The students in the band work hard to be (IMO) the best outfit in the NCAA. Let them play.

I noticed that as well...reacting to feedback from the boards, perhaps?

I've been impressed, actually, with the responsiveness of whoever makes these sorts of decisions to try new approaches.

If "THEY" are in fact reacting to feedback from this forum then I offer a request...

Bring back the tune from "Mike Tyson's Punch Out"—haven't heard that beauty in many seasons. It always pumped me up!

They were playing at some big moments yesterday. I think everyone has almost figured this cheering thing out.

Also want to say how happy I am that they are trying new things. Didn’t have time to check out the merch but it looked like it had some options. Didn’t look like it went well, don’t know if people posted, but I suggested showing social media posts on screen. So glad new things are tried.

I agree with other comments about the band being scaled back. There have been times over the last few games when I've forgotten they were there. Need to show them a little more love and split the time better. Also, I have to say the DJ sounded pretty pathetic at the end of the game yesterday. If you have tried to get chants going twice and gotten no takers, give it a rest. Just throwing out chant after chant smacks of desperation. The DJ has grown on me this year, but I still think we are giving him the mike too much.

On the one hand, I love the energy and direction that DJ Easy brings to EBA. On the other hand though, if it's overdone then it becomes background noise that folks will begin to ignore. What the sweet-spot-happy-medium is, though, I have nary a clue. All I can say for now is, "Keep up the good work!"
